A lot of people want to be allies for racial equality and equity, but don’t always know where to begin. Yahoo created the Allyship Pledge program to educate and support social influencers who in turn could do the same for their vast audiences. For Black History Month, I was asked to create historical fact posts for influencers to use in their feeds. For some of the posts, I took advantage of the carousel format to show how the past was still very much a player in the present, bringing more urgency to understanding the history.
